This is one of the best investments my company has ever made in me. I have chronic neck and shoulder pain, and realized that a taller monitor riser could make all the difference. I tend to sit with my neck bent and my head down and forward trying to look at my monitor all day. This is the perfect height to put it right at eye level. Within 5 minutes of setting it up my neck felt relieved. I'm already sitting taller, with my shoulders and head back (where they belong). No more hunching, no more strained neck. It may be a plastic material, but it seems very sturdy and reliable. It actually looks really nice too. My boss just walked in and commented on how cool it looked. I'm sure I'll be ordering more of these for other staff around the office.
