About Me Midrange Shopper
Comments about Command Picture Hanging Strips; Large, White:
I moved my office upstairs after everything was destroyed downstairs by Hurricane Sandy. I wanted to hang a bulletin board but still wasn't sure where I wanted it to go and wanted the option of being able to pull it down without damaging the walls if I decided to move it. So I used the Command Stripes to hang the bulletin board even though I was a little hesitant about whether it would hold properly or not. I thought it might be too bulky and heavy for the stripes BUT it's still up there. NO problems and I'm adding and pulling things off daily. I haven't had occasion to move it yet. Think I might have found my spot but it's nice to know that if I need to move it, it won't damage the paint or sheetrock when I pull them off.

Working fine to increase the energy barrier within a large bedroom window [72" x 60"]. The insulated drape now hangs within the window and side hems are attached to the side walls of the window inset by using the picture hanging strips. I expected it to work on side walls, but was pleasantly surprized at its ability to adhere to the "fabric" side hems. It enabled me to really create a "boxed in effect" and stopped the seepage of very cold air that was slipping past the louvers and the traditional, hung outside the window, drapery. It's certainly been worth the cost and hopefully I'll get more than one season's use.
Really works!

I love everything Command. I've used these velcro-like picture hangers for everything from hanging framed art, to my homemade lightweight padded headboard for my bed, to remotes that I want to keep handy and out of the way. If you follow the instructions to clean the surfaces with alcohol, and press the strips for the amount of time specified, you will have success on most surfaces (except some vinyls as stated in instructions). The only thing that I think could be improved is that when you remove whatever you've hung, it requires some pressing and "rocking" to refasten the strips together. As far as removing the strips altogether, I've never had any damage to any surface, as long as you pull the tab that releases the adhesive bond straight down.
Really does what it claims and more

I'm a 67 year old guy whose wife likes to change things hanging on the walls whenever the mood strikes her. More hooks and nails to pull out, fill the holes. NEED I CONTINUE - I would love to hug whomever envented this product.

I needed to hang a file folder on a nice desk without holes, therefore, I picked these. I was so happy with the way they worked here at my place of work, that I went out and bought some for my home.
Just what I needed!

I was having trouble with a kitchen area rug that curled up at corner and was tripping me. The command strips have held it down!
Great product.

Our church walls are old plaster. To hang items with nails, tacks, tape, etc would create a problem. These strips do the job and give us peace of mind.

The Picture these are holding up used to fall off the wall once or twice a week. Now it isn't falling off the wall at all.
