No more neck strain or headaches!
from Boise, ID
About Me Midrange Shopper
Comments about 3M Ergonomic Notebook Computer Riser:
I bought this to elevate my laptop when working from home. I was getting neck strain because the monitor was too low and I was constantly looking down. I use a separate keyboard when working at my home so it's not a problem for me to have the laptop keyboard elevated. This has helped so much in creating a more ergonomic workstation in my home office
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Have a small desk want a full keyboard
from Somewhere in the Northeast...
I have a small desk at home...and I like a full keyboard and mouse...so this was ideal. They should just give you 4 shelves though...would make things a little more flexible.I would like to see the depth of the shelf increased by two inches to support the port replicator. That would really help!

About Me Tech Savvy
Does a fine job holding my laptop up several inches off of my desk. This is all I ask of it, and the riser is sturdy enough to hold a laptop cooler and my M17 Alienware laptop.I don't use the cord management, which is simply a couple of slots in the riser and a Velcro cord wrap.

If you don't have a separate monitor, this enables you to have a screen at eye level and use a separate keyboard at typing level

Elevated but not built for Large Laptop
from Blair NE
About Me Avid Gamer, Tech Savvy
One platform had plastic lock mechanism broken off. Still works since both platforms are needed to compensate for the extra wide screen of my laptop.

I'll stand up and deliver
from Aztec, NM
About Me Quality Oriented
It has made my notebook so much easier to use especially since I am using a laser desktop keyboard. The combination of the two makes it wonderful. Also, the notebook riser makes keyboarding so much easier using bifocals. I am glad that I purchased this product.
