Don't confuse the EZ Touch description for staple power. Bought this to replace a PaperPro spring loaded stapler and the EZ Touch doesn't even come close to doing the job. Very disappointed with the EZ Touch.

Our office has gone through many staplers. Our clerks staple hundreds of small documents each day. Our main issue with the older designs were that they were hard on the hand and wrist... stapler would jam quite often. We've tried other EZ-Touch staplers, they started out great, but would later jam after too much use until the mechanism inside would break. We've used many other Swingline Staplers & other brands, this particular design has lasted the longest, we just ordered a few more for the office. This particular EZ Touch Mechanism is easy on the hand and wrist and it has not jammed since we bought it 3 years ago.

My last stapler finally bit the dust and I was looking for a replacement. I staple consistently between two and 30 sheets of paper with a hand stapler much of the day, and I had been going to a large volume stapler lately for most of the 15+ pages as my old stapler didn't want to always go through them. I have had double carpal tunnel surgery and can no longer "power" through as many pages as I used to. This is a wonderful stapler, and I have already had to warn one person in the office not to steal it after she worked at my station while I was on vacation and used it. It is no more bulky than my last stapler, but it is more bulky than some out there. People who complain about it being awkward to pick up to use most likely have small hands.
