The "EZ TOUCH" is a great idea, and at first use this stapler is magical. If you staple a lot, which I do, you don't want to get carpal tunnel from a staple that requires a lot of power. This stapler, at first, requires only the gentlest pressure to get the job done. It is, indeed, EZ touch. However, after months of use, it starts to jam, i.e., I think it has run out of staples, but it has not. It just doesn't work. And then when it finally catches the next staple, I have to use TONS of pressure, like a normal stapler. This is happening non-stop now, so that every two or three staples, it doesn't catch, I have to open it and reset it until it magically catches, and then use a lot of pressure to staple the paper. At this point, after having used 5 or 6 of these and spreading them around the office as the best stapler ever, only to have people steal mine and give me their old one once it stops working nicely, I will be moving back to the old standard full-strip stapler that is not advertised as easy touch. Try again, Swingline. You'll get it right someday.

I am usually staplelying 10-12 pages and got tired of dealing with paper jams so I started searching for a replacement stapler and I am happy with my choice.

I was looking for a powerful, small, quiet stapler that was easy to press. This fits the bill pretty well, sometimes it is easier to press than others. I have a larger, powerful stapler but I hated the noise it makes. This one is quiet.

I prefer Swingline to other brands and like the ease of using it, the compact size and it staples well for what I need.

Perfect for weak hands. Smooth operation that is so much better than more expensive models we have tried. Large enough to do the job but small enough to not get in the way on a desk. Great product!
