Sure they cost a bit more than just a bag of rubberbands, but they are fun to look at, clutter-free, they don't get knotted like a bag of bands can, and I can carry it from room to room easily. (If I drop it, I don't have a mess of rubberbands, I still have just the ball to worry about.) I also like having the multicolors to brighten up my office space.

Colorful rubberbands that are bound together in a ball, not knotted up in a drawer taking up lots of space or falling out constantly when you go to retrieve a paper clip. I enjoy the colors because some secretarial duties can be monotonous, and it brings a touch of joy when I need to bind some envelopes together.

High quality rubber bands that stretch without breaking: Very useful for keeping opened partially used bags of pet food, bird seed, pasta, frozen vegetables... closed and air tight to preserve freshness. Plus, the kids like to play with the ball as a toy!
