The Allsop Metal Art Jr. Monitor Stand by Allsop is a great addition to my office setting. The stand allows my computer monitor to be at the perfect eye level for me, reducing slumping and thus allowing for a happier back and neck. I am considering purchasing a second stand for my other computer monitor. My only dislike of the monitor stand is the color, but it does blend in nicely with my boring beige desk. I would definitely recommend purchasing this stand to my coworkers and have.

This is a great stand for a monitor, TV, DVD player, or laptop. The space saved underneath can be used to organize cables or paper if a printer is placed on top. The holes improve airflow under the laptop or DVD player as opposed to resting directly on the desk. The sides and back must rest on the desk or study furniture in order to ensure it is stable.

If you are concerned with aesthetics the color of this stand is NOT what is shown. Instead of silver the actual color is a dull bronze. We kept it but were disappointed.

I purchased this product to neaten up my desk and to raise my laptop up to a height that was more suitable for viewing.

Since I have an external keyboard attached it is not necessary to use the laptop keyboard except when I'm actually using it in a more portable manner.
