                    As a lawyer, when I go to court, I don't want my legal pad to be floppy with a weak cardboard backing. This legal pad is the firmest available, and in court you can readily stand up, hold it, and take notes on it. Weaker pads have to be laid on the table or some other hard surface to be used.
