        Pad is fine for ball point ink, but gel ink pens bleed through the paper making the back page useless.

              The only thing I do not like is that they covered the front with writing. I liked the large white cover to identify which notebook I was using.

                I have used these for years and years and love them. You can write and figure so much more easily vertically than if you wrote horizontally -- you don't have to move your hand as much -- think about it. I have a home business and have to figure all contracts and not only is this easily done vertically, but it takes up a lot less desk space. Love them.
