This is a good strong envelope. Not flimsy at all.
Couldn't give it any "cons" for not being padded, or being a LITTLE bit see-thru because I was fully aware of what type envelope I was purchasing.
If I'd have wanted padded, I would have bought theses separately.
If I need completely secure (not seed-thru at all), then I simply use the yellow manilla type. But this is GREAT for the everyday brochure-type mailings I do.
Just want durable and reliable, which they are. NOT the cheapest, but definitely won't fall apart in the mail like others.

We used these for a brochure mailing. They were hard to seal once we got everything inside. We had to tape them down, because of the tear open perforation. They're definitely useable, though. You just might want to go a size up if you are mailing something more than half an inch thick.
