I really can't give this a rating at this time as I have used it only for a couple of mornings in my class. Right now it works fine but time will only tell if it keeps going. I've had 2 other pointers made better than this one and they failed in a short time. This is a fairly cheap plastic housing with a flimsy battery cover that I hope will stay put, a construction that certainly doesn't warrant the price, but then if it keeps working that makes it better than the other metal case ones I had.

The only bad thing,employees walk away with them. They are more durable than the first set of batteries that you load them with. Long lasting

I use this laser pointer as a cat toy. My cats have not expressed any preference to this pointer over the one that it replaced

Got it for my cat and now when I get home she wants laserpointer rather than food. Seriously, it makes her crazed, but she's clearly getting her exercise.

Except for the poort battery cover which I fixed with masking tape, this model is better than others I have tried. I would still have the previous 2 units of this brand except that they were lost so I purchased a new one.

Very impressed with the overall performance and construction of this model.

Don't buy the cheaper imports, as they are not safety rated. All lasers are potentially dangerous, so quality matters -

I bought it for a cat toy. It does what I need it for.
The one thing I did not like about it was where the batteries go. It is cheap and I will more than likely lose the cover. Thanks Margaret
