Could be better

About Me Quality Oriented
Was disappointed with this phone. Bought 2 of them 2 years ago. They have both had to be replaced already. We replaced them with the same phone, as there is not much out there to choose from. Hoping these 2 last longer. Will not be buying them again.
Good Home Office Phone
By gw

This is a good phone. I use it for my home office. The voice mail access buttons are easy to use and efficient. The sound quality is good. The large buttons are ready to see but they are stiffer than I would like. Until the buttons get worn in more it will not permit me to dial phone numbers quickly. I wish the mutter button was much more pronounced than it is. I have accidentally hung up calls because of the me butten location. The menu is simple to work with, understand, and navigate. It is easy to program.

Fits my needs

About Me Value Oriented
I purchased my new ATT Two-line corded telephone/answering system with caller ID/call waiting because my previous telephone answering machine had too much static and could not use a battery for back-up anymore. I wanted a land line in case I lost electric power. The Caller ID screen is helpful in disclosing who is calling. Way too many Robo calls these days. First time having caller ID and call waiting. It is so easy to pick up an incomming call while on a current call. I love it. Also, the speaker phone allows me to multitask and the speed dial is fantastic. Although I don't have two phone lines in my home, this phone fits all my needs.

Needed low cost two line phone for the office. Had several that really never worked well. This one simple and does the job
Solid Home Office phone
By Mark2d

A really solid wired home phone for 2 lines. My only beef is the mute button is right next to the speakerphone mic, so if you are on a speakerphone call and want to mute, invariably the people will hear the sound of your finger on or near the button pressing mute, negating some of the mute's usefulness. This may or may not be a big deal to you. Otherwise, everything else about this phone is quality. I would recommend it to anyone as being a reasonably priced home office phone. I also own the AT&T 993 two line and feel it is a good buy as well.
Good Phone

We could not get the answering system set up. I recorded my message and when I called my number from my cell phone, the message did not come up. But when we listened to the message I left when I called my number, I also heard my recorded message.
