I have had this phone about a month and am very happy with it. The keys make dialing easy & comfortable. Works well as a speakerphone. I am able to connect a FAX machine through it (it will actually accept two of these). Downside is that FAX machine can only be connected to lines 3 and 4. Also the manual wasn't very helpful for setup of a FAX, but I eventually got it. This was definately an upgrade from my previous phone.

The handset will not rest on shoulder, and stay in place as easy as others I have, when needed. Had to place small rubber cushions in each corner of the bottom of set for wall mount, so that it would not wobble on wall. Do not like "LOW BATT" showing on screen, when I do not use the backup battery feature. My other phones have a small red light indicating this. When a line is in use, it does not show the callerID of an incoming call on another line.

We needed to upgrade to a Multi-line phone - after alot of research we settled on the 1040 and 1070 - used those for a few months and now added another 1070 and all is working well. Very pleased.
