I wanted a hard wired phone for my home. That way if the electricity goes out, I can still make a call! This phone was a terrific value. The 'speaker' feature is excellent and I can store numbers and autodial.

I had one of these before and it died after 1 year, returned it to ATT and the one they replaced it with was just as bad. Bought a new one at Staples because I love the looks, the features, but not the quality. This one is brand new and the voice is already breaking up when using it as a speaker phone. I might return it; not sure yet.

Good to have a basic land line phone in case the power goes out. This phone has a decent quality feel with big buttons for large fingers, speakerphone, speed dialing storage and more. I only wish I could change the ring tone. Can turn the ringer off, low or high.

I like having a corded phone in the house as well as the cordless ones. This one fits the bill perfectly. My Mom could always hear me better on this phone than any of the other phones I have had, so I would recommend it for those who have trouble hearing.
