Although the clear label blends well and is very transparent, the quality of the label material is flimsy and tears easily.

Using the Avery download template, I was able to have perfect registration on my addresses. I love the clear labels for tinted envelopes... the color shows through and looks lovely. labels peel off the sheet quite easily, too.

I used the 1" x 4" clear labels to create bookmarks for my mother-in-laws 80th Birthday celebration. She loves to read so we chose books as the theme for her party and selected quotes from 5 of her favorite authors. I purchased blank card stock bookmarks and used the clear labels to put messages on both sides of the bookmark. One side stated in a bold large red font (her favorite color) that ------- is 80 on July 2, 2011. The other side had one of the 5 quotes from her favorite authors. I made 50 bookmarks and it was so quick and easy to use the template. The bookmarks were attached to goodie bags filled with gummy worms (aka bookworms). They were enjoyed by the guests of all ages.

We were getting married and my wife found some very nice envelopes and paper for the invitations. But when I ran one of the envelopes through the Laser jet the ink would smear. My solution was to use the clear labels and paste them on the envelopes. I must say she was a happy bride and her techie husband with the help from Avery the wedding was a great success.

Avery is the only brand I use for my labels. I know the quality is going to be there. The print is always good on these labels from my laser printer. The adhesive is always even and I've never had a quality control issue in all the years I have been using them. Highly recommended.

My printer can only hold 10 envelopes or less, so printing directly to an envelope when I have to address 30 or more is a hassle. These labels look great, and are easy to print via the Avery wizard. The only downside is that I can only print 1 page at a time. When I try to print more I get ink smears. Not sure if it is because of the clear label itself or if it is a printer issue. I would give a 5 star rating if I could print more than 1 sheet at a time.

My printer doesn't make it easy to print addresses on envelopes, and I often use large manila envelopes that don't fit in the printer anyway. Avery Clear Address Labels provide the solution to both problems. They look much neater and more professional than white labels. Using a script font, we even use them to address our Christmas cards. I also like how easy they are to lift and apply.

This states that it is good for inkjet printers as well as laser, but it definitely is not. The labels come out smeared and blur as the ink dries as if it is melting. I printed 3 sheets out and couldn't use one label, they were that bad. Clear is a nice idea if you have a laser, but if you have an inkjet, stick with the paper labels.
