Comments about Avery 5209 Print or Write File Folder Labels; Yellow, 11/16x3-7/16, 252 Labels:
We used these labels for personal folders and printed them with an ink jet printer (Ricoh). The labels worked in place of the regular paper (no manual feeding) and the templates worked well. The labels could be a little less wide which would make the alignment easier (horizontally) but it is not worth taking off a star. The results look great and the labels are very inexpensive, particularly when compared with labels that come on letter sized pages. There are seven labels per sheet, unlike labels on letter sized pages, so small batches could be printed and waste limited. I did not try feeding a sheet of labels through more than once but it looks like it would work.
Disappointed

I agree with other reviewers, difficult to use in Wordperfect. Feel too time consuming to print a spine label for a CD case. Avery templates are great if "Word" is your office program.
CD LABELS
I agree with a previous review. Using the template in WORD is horrible. I stumbled through it this afternoon kept making several versions so I wouldn't lose what I had already done. WORD is not the right PGM for label creativity.
What can you say about labels

I run an insurance agency and have tons of folders that need the same lable. I like these because I can color code my categories. I love organization. The template is easy to load into Word and change as necessary. I load them all at once, print a whole pack, and then keep them on hand for when needed.
Don't waste your time
If you have all afternoon to spend trying to get software to work, give this product a try. Otherwise, save your time and try something else.

Not useful at all for our needs.
Labels can only be edited in Microsoft Word, making it excessively difficult to use in an actual graphic/design program (ie. Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.). Even a print-sized jpeg would be preferable to a .doc file.
