        this binder is for my son, who is 14 years old. originally, we purchased the staples simple binder which got destoyed. within 5 months, he managed to tear off the back and front covers. but then again, my son is rough and careless with all of his notebooks and school papers. so i bought the avery binder and so far it is holding up. the binder costed almost $8. staples does offer a discount of $2 off if i turn in the old binder, but unfortunately i didn't have it with me. the binder is a little expensive, but worth it.
