About Me Quality Oriented
the use of filing systems as represented by the product under review reveals z frame of mind indicative to order rather than chaos, to neatness as opposed to the kind of sloppiness that leads to loss of access to materials at a time when they are most needed to achieve the stated objective. This product and companion products reduced the potential for time-wasting and aggravation that often are linked to disorder. therefore the product has a value that transcends its strictly utilitarian purpose. it may also be that the product generates the over-accumulation of records since it facilitates their storage and permanency.

Some good features but rings not tight
By 3-Ring Notebook User
from New York
I like the quality of the plastic, the dual pockets on each side and the single lever open/close positioned in front. I'm also a big fan of "D" rings. But the two outer rings do not close tightly, so sheets catch on them. There is a male/female "Gap free" design for the ring closing tips (think about a bullet fitting into a hollow tube) which means there is enough overlap to keep sheets from falling out, but since the outer rings are not closed tighly sheets can still catch on the edge of the "tube" side when flipping pages. The center ring is nice and tight so I suspect the loose outer ring problem could be an artifact of the single lever open/close design, as it appears that it generates spring force primarily in the center rather than on both ends.I'm keeping it and will get by but I wouldn't buy this again.
