          There are a couple of measurements you may want to make before purchasing this - or any other 3 ring binder that is larger than you are used to.
          I transferred some (Avery) quick-load sheet protectors from an older (Avery) 3" binder to this 5" binder, and was disappointed to find that the sheets would no longer turn freely in the 5" style. The cause appears to be that a larger gauge metal is used for the rings on the larger binder. You may want to do a physical check before buying any bigger size binder, to make sure it will work with the pages you want to use with it.
          Another detail that may cause "fit" problems is that this 5" binder has a slightly larger width (from spine to opening) than the smaller one. In my case, the door of the cabinet where I wanted to store it wouldn't close properly unless I turned the notebook sideways!
          I give it 4 stars because it seems well made. I would have liked to be able to use it, but it won't work for my intended application.
