I agree with Suze67. Our office has always used Avery and this trueblock is horrible. They fall right off or peel off causing us to place tape over them. Makes our file folders look unprofessional.

I color code personnel files blue for the main folder, red for medical, yellow for worker's comp, and green for training. This way there is no question as to which file belongs in which cabinet.

These labels are quite expensive and there doesn't seem to be an alternative offered at Staples.

We have always used Avery 5766 file labels. Since Avery made these labels "TrueBlock," they have been a horror. The labels peel away from the subfolder on their own. We have to place tape over them in order for them to stay on the subfolders -- meaning, double the work, double the expense. Will not be purchasing these labels again.

Medical records labels

We use these to label our medical records, 1000s of medical records. THey are ok for it, but sometimes older people have a hard time reading the names if they are misaligned in the printer and print on the colored lines.
