I purchase different size labels all the time. I fold a 3 or 4 inch long label in half, and place it on a file folder/jacket tab, standing up, so I can find certain files easier. I also fold a label, lenghthwise and use it to reference an article or project in a DIY magazine, or in a catalog that I'm going to order something by mail. I use a folded label as a tab for different subjects in my college's course catalog, so that when I plan my next semesters schedule, I don't flip pages endlessly, but instead, go to the tab for Math, Social studies,Science, and view those classes.

Use these for many things, not just computer
printed items. Label your brown bag lunch, your
water bottle, notebooks, just about anything you
can imagine. Package tells you which template to
use to set up - easy to print. Easy to write on
with pens, pencils, markers. Make your own address
labels - if you need them to be large.

I have used these lables to put on my beer bottles when I make home brew. If I knew more about the coumputer and what you were asking me to set up I might like the item more. Out of the 5 lables I am really only to use 4 because the last lable does not print in the center. I will still use the lable because I can not find any thing better.
