I have used this brand of notebooks for about 5 years now. I love the notebook design and rate it excellent. This notebook last for 5 years and counting.

I have used the Avery heavy duty binders with one-touch ring opener in many different sizes. I think it is particularly easy to use in the very large and very small sizes. The one-touch ring opener really does work - I have never had one fail. And sometimes the very small binders are hard to open with the older ring openers. I find that the rings consistently meet more closely than the rings on many other binders. I find it interesting that you cannot open the rings by just pulling them apart - you really do need to use the opener provided. But then.... why wouldn't you? It works extremely well.

These are the nicest binders I've used. I like the almost gummy surface - makes it very easy to pick them up, even if they're overfilled. I use them at the gallery for our inventory lists and at home to organize my knitting patterns.
The rings open easily and close at a touch, and I love the D style. the only trouble I've had is that I put in a couple of plastic folders, and they're hard to get past the rings. I think that's a function of the folders, though, not the rings.
The colors are fun, and the last really great thing about these is that it's easy to label the spine. Unlike the regular view binders, the spine label is accessible through the inside.
All in all, this is a really greaet binder. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I haven't had them long enough to know how well they hold up. It's been about 3 months, and they're fine. I'll say more in another couple of years.

The Avery binder is an exceptional value. I use it for organizing documents for my classroom, and Avery is the only brand that I purchase.

I bought a bunch of these notebooks to have on hand when Staples had a rebate. They were a super great deal then! I like that I can slip a sheet inside the cover to differentiate the notebooks. I can also slide a piece on the end in case I have them organized on a book case. If I get creative I can slide in a large sheet to wrap all the way to the back. I like the 1" and 2" sizes best. I start a class with the 1" size and move up to the 2" or 3" as necessary if there is a lot of printed material in the class. I like the brighter colors the best but the black looks business like and classy. I wish they had some nice paisley patterns though. Maybe they should add some Waverly prints or prints from the Vera Bradley's collection.

My wife and I used this folder to keep track of our daily workouts and daily eating habits. We coupled it with some divider tabs for easy reference. So, this folder gets pretty heavy use due to the addition of at least 4 pages per day. Closure operation has been seemless and is very open/close with one hand. The only item that I would have wished that the folder included would have been a plastic piece that would help the pages seat correctly upon closing the folder. For the price, though, this folder certainly met all expectations

Oh my gosh where have you been all my life. I can't imagine living with out it. It is perfect in so many ways. My life has changed because of purchasing this product. Actually when I bought the green binder, I also purchased a purple binder as well. Same size. Same shape, but different color then the green. The shades I wish were a little darker in the green but lighter in the purple. I just didn't know anywhere else to go at 8:55pm to look for the selection that I needed. I know it usually makes all the difference.

Really? It's a binder. It binds. It works.
