I work from home for part of the day and this is a perfect setup. I can set it up and feel like I am in a "real" computer workspace - not just at a kitchen table or some other uncomfortable working spot. The higher shelf is great to put my laptop on for better screen viewing and then my keyboard is on the lower shelf - much more ergonomic than many of the other options out there or when I was trying to work at my kitchen table – at the end of the day I was too sore to move my shoulder! When my work day is over and I want my "home space" back – this desk is very easy to fold up and it stores flat in a corner of my dining room. It is out of my way when I need it to be yet highly functional despite its easy mobility. I highly recommend this for anyone that needs either a "temporary" workstation – part of the day or a few days – or even for a small space for a dorm, small office or kid's room!

I just received this desk yesterday, opened the box, screwed in 2 caster wheels, popped the desk open, and was good to go! Great quality, well-designed, and perfect fit for the small area I put it in, and despite it's small size, the desk itself provides ample room to work on it without feeling cramped. I am using it for my laptop, and I have a small printer set up on the bottom shelf. I wanted something sturdy, that could be moved if I needed to make room, and that required no assembly--this item fit the bill on all counts. Love it and love Staples! I will likely be buying another one for my daughter who has just started college.
