Comments about Balt Fold-N-Stow Computer Workstation; Teak/Silver:
The design of this desk is exactly what I was looking for. I work from home, using a laptop, and wanted something with some storage space, with a decent-sized workspace I could fold out of the way when not in use. I found this and got a great deal due to sale price and coupon. I love the design, but the quality of construction leaves a lot to be desired. The casters come out of the legs, and had to be replaced within a month of my purchase. The second set also started to come out, but thanks to Gorilla Glue are now firmly in place and staying put. The top two drawers do not slide smoothly at all. I have to fight them open. The desk only rolls smoothly when the top is not folded down, which makes it challenging to steer through tight spaces. The paper, or whatever it is, that covers the desk also scratches very easily. Overall, though, it serves its purpose, and the manufacturer does honor their warranty (some drawer rollers were damaged on arrival and were replaced promptly, along with the casters that kept coming out).

great product

I have been eying this desk for a while now, and I was debating between this one and the black version. I decided to get this one. I plan on using this in a secondary bedroom where I use a laptop. The instructions were very easy to understand, and it wasn't bad to put together, either. The only think I didn't expect was to have to take the tip of a screwdriver to punch some of the holes that didn't go through the laminate. It wasn't much of a pain, but it was something that should have been quality controlled.
