Has solved the cables-are-heavier-than-device problem of earlier KVMs I've used. Needs a spot of double-stick tape to keep it from sliding around so I stuck it to the base of my monitor. Voila'

I have limited desk space but use 2 computers so this works great to eliminate the need for 2 monitors and keyboards; I can go from one computer to the next with just a press of the button.

I use it to switch back and forth between two desktop computers. One is for strictly internet, other more personal. One monitor, one wireless keyboard, one wireless mouse. It is a bit slow on switching but is better than unhooking monitor from one and hooking it to the other. When installing I would follow Gordo's instructions. I will paste them here for convenience. He is correct, use common sense.
"Best to use common sense.
Leave both PC's off. Attach Flip to both PC's.
Boot 1st PC, (the PC that short cord of Flip is
attached to), allow ample time for PC to "see"
Flip. Test keyboard and mouse. If all is OK;
press Flip remote button and yellow light indicator will turn green.
Now boot 2nd PC and follow same directions as for 1st PC.
Now switch between PC's at the touch of a button."

It does a good job for the money.

I just merged my office into my home. Disappointed had to order it in. But once I got it! WOW! Easy to set up...so far no problems.
2 computers, 1 desktop, no more emails back and forth to myself!
