Comments about Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Notebook Card; 32-bit:
I have an out of date Dell laptop that has one design flaw - no 2.0 USB ports. I used this product to solve the problem and now I can use a Brookstone Slide converter I bought to upload old family slides. I am extremely happy with the product.

my usb port on my dell laptop craped out and needed another usb port for my printer and wireles. bought this port as final option and worked. the downside is it wont power up my usb wireless link, so now i have to plug in the phone jack to be online. other than that its not bad for the price. good buy.
Finally a solution

Bought a used notebook computer, couldn't download my iTunes program to my new iPod without it. (Actually didn't know what I needed, but the staff told me.) Brought it home, plugged it in, and the download proceeded effortlessly.

I had hoped to use this to upgrade to USB 2.0 for my ipod. The unit installs easily enough but caused my system to lock up until the card was removed. [...].

I wish the card had four ports rather than two.

Great product at a fair price!

I needed an addiitional USB port because one of the ports on my laptop was dead. Service Center wanted to keep my laptop for 4 days to add the new port - said they had to take computer completely apart. I need my computer and didn't want to leave it for that many days plus it would be quite expensive to make the repair. This little card gives me, not one but two ports at a very reasonable price. It just plugs in and is ready to go. I am very happy I found this solution: fast, easy to install and reasonable price.
