The only real negative comment I can make about this desk is the hardware used to attach the bottom front edges. For the amount you pay for this desk I would think that the manufacturer would be able to come up with something far better than a degree piece of plastic that attaches by being hammered into the wood. Plastic and hammered. Two words that do not go together. Just as the surfaces that these pieces were supposed to join. Fortunately, there were extra wood screws included in the packaging (I'm assuming by mistake). That aside, this was the best desk for the price I found anywhere - locally or online.

When it comes to real corner desks there are not many options out there. I was a little leery about making this purchase, only because I could not find a display unit in a store to look at. The online and catalog description states "commercial grade" and one inch thick work surfaces. The name "Bestar Elite Collection" is well suited to this desk as well as all the other pieces in this collection. I purchased the whole Elite Collection with 2 storage cabinets with the exception of the the corner hutch. If the hutch would have been 2 to 3 inches taller and cleared my old CRT monitor & pedestal, I would have purchased that too. If you are looking for a corner desk with a riser you will not be disappointed. Ships in two boxes. The directions recommend two people to assemble this desk. Two would be better, I managed by myself just fine. The directions provided and the style of assembly hardware make these units actually fun to assemble. I was able to fit all this into a room that is 11'x11'

There was a peace of the corner leg missing. It took eight day to get that part to me. The mfg did not seen to care that I had a mess in my office and could not proceed with the assembly unlil I RXed that part. I will not putchase a Bestar product again.
