As my government class was about to began, I opened my backpap, and decided to pull out my new green pen. I heard somewhere that people tend to memorize information they write down when it is in green ink, so I was excited to try it. However, to my dismay the BIC Atlantis ballpoint pen's green ink was so light, I couldn't even see it. The ink was so ridiculously light, that I couldn't see my notes in dims light or bright light. I had to squint, and bring my notebook up to my face to decipher what I wrote. Also, as I sat in class frustrated, that this was the only pen I had, I felt sad, and started thinking of my purple Pilot pen that writes smoothly, and fluidly. I need fluidity when I write because I have to think fast when I write timed essays, or notes. I would like my pen to respond to my thinking process. However, this terrible writing utensil claims it went from smooth to smoother on a poorly drawn meter on the front of the packaging, which is highly untrue. This pen also boasts a trusted original for a classic look and feel, everyday, smooth-click retractable ball pen, comfortable rubber grip and metal clip, and smoother than BIC classic ink system. The pen's retractable smooth-click is absolutely annoying because often when you click the pen to close it; it gets stuck in the middle. Also, the pen's green ink doesn't have enough color saturation, causing the ballpoint to be unevenly coated with the ink, so often when you write, there are blanks causing e's to look like c's, and the "comfortable" rubber grip is thin, and offers little comfort for your fingers. This is by far the worst pen I have ever used.
