I need a ball point pen for writing checks. This one is very uncomfortable to use. Too fat at the grip, does not move easily and skips frequently. I probably will not purchase again.

Comfortable grip and size. Won't hurt your hand even if you write a lot. Leaves blots of ink rarely. It seems like a waste that the pen doesn't have refills available. The Bic Retractable Refills will work if you save the spring from the original pen.
