I write a lot for my job and these pens are perfect. They write soft, the grip is perfect and I love that the ink doesn't smear as i'm left handed and most ink ends up on my hand.

So bold point pens are awesome for standing out on the page, writing quickly with little pressure, etc. But the con of bold points IS the bold pen strokes. Those take longer to dry, making smearing and "blobby" marks all over your page. I still use them, since I prefer the bold point and don't mind taking extra care to let the page dry longer, but co-workers have shunned them. They're not any worse than other bold point pens I've used, so if you're a Bold Point Person, then you're going to be used to the cons already. The cushy grip, bold color, and smooth writing make up for the smearing for me. But the question is, will it for you?

I bought these pens for our office after reading all the good reviews. I was very disappointed as I can not write with them at all without getting ink all over me. Anything I write looks sloppy and unprofessional due to the ink ozzing out of the pens too quickly. I tried all the pens and got the same result. Too bad.

When I was in the Staples store looking for a bold ink pen I came across this pen with the 1.6 B and immidately scooped it up. I had been using another brand with a 1.4 and thought this would be even better and I was right!!! I had to go home and order 2 boxes of them from the website, plus I got a better deal there. It writes very smoothly and does not smear at all!!

We have a large office and every staff member, even the most difficult ones..., has fallen in love with these little pens. Can't say enough good things about it. So happy I took a chance and tried a roller ball pen in an age when gel pens have taken over.
This product is AWESOME!!!!

I love love love this pen!!! The ink flows very smoothly!! great grip piece!! doesnt hurt to write with!!! no need to bear down because ink flows so well!!!!
