We have a law office with a main printer. I bought this to replace another printer near my desk. It is fast and no problems. The only drawback is you need to be careful when putting material in the input bypass to make sure that it depresses the trigger so the machine knows it is to use the bypass. I would guess that would be true with any printer. Can't go wrong with HP lasers.

We purchased the printer mid January 2013, it's a very quiet, efficient printer. We use it to print letters, contracts and invoices. Does the job with no problem at all. Not sure about toner yet, as we haven't had it long enough to tell.

I print multiple copies of 50 invoice per week. It is much quieter than the machine it replaced and has a smaller footprint. I am unsure how toner usage will compare to the old machine as the shaded areas of our invoices now print much darker.

I am a secretary in a small office but my printer is used all day long. (I was absolutely lost when my other one died!) I reviewed what my needs and wants were and found this printer to be everything I could ask for in a small printer.
The ONLY thing I need to look into is the sleep mode. When the printer goes to sleep mode it does take a little longer to print. It's not a long wait time but it is not instant. As I said it may just be an option I can change and I have not looked into yet as it's not a huge problem, just a very small inconvenience.
I REALLY like the black color as it looks great with all my other black electronics.
I gave this printer 4 stars because I would have liked the option to add a 2nd paper tray.

Easy to install and use. This printer is much quieter and faster than the old HP 3005 we replaced and a heckuva good price. Plus, it looks really sleek. I highly recommend!

You'll need to use your old USB cable, if you have one, because this HP does not come with it.

Also, we were able to "add" the printer onto our network system without having to pay the higher price of a "network" printer.
