This printer is great. I was advised it was wireless and that was what I wanted. Also the replace ink cartridge is good for 6000 copies and cost around 125.00; which I think is a great buy. When I went to hook it up I thought I needed a cable(s) to hook it up but when I tried without it using the setup disc, it worked perfectly and I now have all my computers and my iphone working off this printer, wirelessly.

We had another Brother printer that we liked but the network card or whatever quit working. I immediately went and got a 2nd brother printer and due to the increased speed, I am glad that other printer had a problem otherwise I would have never purchased a new printer with this amazing speed. I cannot recommend it enough. Get it, you will love it!

Can't really tell how fast or well this printer works, because I've been trying to get it to work wirelessly. I actually printed one page successfully, but then it went offline again.

After carefully following the Quick Setup Guide instructions several times, I called Support. Come to find out that if the printer loses power for any reason (power outage, surge, moving it around), it loses its ip address and you have to set it up all over again. This makes no sense, considering I have an HP Laserjet 5 (probably 20 years old!) with a D-link wireless converter that keeps it's wireless IP address and works like a charm, and we lose power frequently.

Unfortunately, I didn't discover this 'til it was too late to return it. Guess I'm stuck using ethernet cable; good thing I didn't pay a lot for the useless wireless feature!

This is the second HL-5470DW printer we have in the office and they have worked well for us. We have had good luck with Brother printer and all in one machines. At this time, I will buy another when another older Brother machine needs to be upgraded.

I really like the fact that I can do bigger print jobs and not need to buy more ink after a few pages. I had so many issues with my inkjet and needed a new printer immediately. This printer really was a great buy for me. It prints multiple pages quickly and I don't have to buy ink so frequently. I love it. I wish I could afford a printer similar to it that uses color also. I am thankful that I was able to afford this one and a box of paper. I have enjoyed being able to print everything I have needed with this printer.

Uses toner much faster than what the store employees stated.
Also, it says it prints "booklet style," but it doesn't do that on my Windows 8 computer.
