Over the last 5 years I have purchased two Brother Laser printers and I do believe that I am done being a Brother consumer. The problem with both laser printers was that once ink cartridges were changed the problems of leaking ink began along either right or left side of the paper. I never used any cartridge that wasn't Brother, and it became a constant struggle to produce professional looking work with this kind of problem to say nothing of cost involved. Cleaning Machine, returning apparently defective cartridges,was a weakly event. Help from Brother was really of no value. I recommend purchasing the Staples warranty so you can return it the moment it gives you a problem. The $50 or $60 dollar investment in the warranty would be worth it. Goodbye to Brother for me.

Replacing a six year old Brother MFC that gave years of trouble free duty. Using it in USB mode, haven't tried wireless. Works flawlessly-the only (very slight) drawback is the fans make noise when printing and for a while after in cooldown mode. Afterwards it's dead silent.

BTW it comes in a huge box-I thought Staples sent me a refrigerator by accident.

I had the 5370DWT prior to this one. This model seems to use more ink, which I am not crazy about. I also wish the top paper tray would also hold an entire ream of paper, as I do a large volumne of printing. It does print quite fast and the print quality is nice. Overall I am quite satisfied and would definiitely recommend this printer if you need to print both letter and legal sized.

Prints clean and fast. Have had for over a month with 12+ users and have had no compaints. Feeds paper well and responds quickly. Unit is in the main hall and though you can hear it run it is not disterbing to converstion around it or to people on the phone.

I called tech support over and over and they kept telling me it was my computer for the printer not working. So I bought a new computer, it still does not print. In the middle of a print job, you have to manually feed it to keep the job going. They will not honor their warranty and just replace the printer, it is JUNK!

Ignore the reviews about paper tray problems. It works perfectly and automatically IF you install the latest driver and configure it correctly. When you open the box, throw out that driver disk. Instead, go directly to brother.com and download the driver there. After that, you need to set up the trays for the paper sizes you use (easy), then go into the printer properties accessories and select Auto Detect. So easy! (All instructions are readily available on brother.com) I get PDF attachments with a mixture of legal and letter sized pages...this printer chooses the correct size without any direction from me or any extra steps. Also, it prints super fast and crystal clear and I set it up wirelessly (no USB) and it worked like a charm! I'm so happy with this printer and I highly recommend it.

I purchased my Brother printer a month ago and have loved it ever since. I have an old HP injet printer that can't hold a candle to it as far as speed, ink usage and dependability. The speed of the printer is incredible. I printed over 200 pages of documents in less than 3 minutes. The dual tray allows me to print a pdf with mixed letter and legal sized documents effortlessly. I love it! I will purchase another Brother when my HP kicks the bucket.

We have been looking for a printer that is fast and efficient. This fills the bill on both counts. It took a little time to set up, but we set it up remotely, so that was the only problem. It works great remotely and we could free up a desk that is close to our other printer that we still use only because we have a couple of expensive ink cartridges. It was shipped to our home in a timely manner, so we weren't waiting days for it. The trays hold much more than our old printer, so that is a real plus.
