Everything, except for the casters, is very easy to assemble. The casters require a bit of an effort. Since the stool was offered only with casters for carpeting, it was necessary to purchase an additional set of casters for (hard) wood floors. Since the casters are not installed by the seller, it should not be too difficult to offer a choice between the two types to save the expense of an additional set.

I already had the same chair without the back for my sewing machine. I purchased this one for the machine and the backless one is at my computer.

My computer table is higher than the standard table and this chair suits my needs. None of the computer chairs seem to have the extra height that I prefer.
