Sturdy construction, but it took our professional carpenter over an hour to assemble. Looks great and fit perfectly in a small office. Had to purchase a file pedestal separately, which was more expensive than the shell. The unassembled boxes for the desk shell and file pedestal were extremely heavy when delivered. Would recommend paying more for the white glove delivery service and assembly option.
