I returned this item the FIRST time because the "variable" speed fan was not variable (all 3 settings put out exactly the same temp and airflow). 2nd one had same problem (so obviously design flaw) AND this one's thermostat was obviously broken, cuz it would not run for more than a few seconds before kicking into "auto-shut-off". Moving onto to new Brand. :(

I am the receptionist at a visual effects company and I work right beside the room with all the computers in it-can I just say-FREEZING COLD! I use this heater every day for nine hours all year round and I love it! The great thing is, the settings also have a cool temperature if you want to cool off, which I never use, but hey, the option is there. But it actually gets HOT, really toasty and warm and I love it. It's so hot, I sometimes fantasize that I'm at the beach and not at work...:)I primarily use it to keep my feet and legs warm and it rocks. I have tried other space heaters and they either don't get hot enough or they just peter out after a few months. This is a workhorse! You can compare it to a Volvo if you like:) Also, don't, I repeat, don't buy that other one the SoleusAir heater-it is so lame...bought it before I bought this one and now it sits in the closet, I kick it now and then to get it out of the way so I can get to the sodas. Anyway, hope you find my comments helpful!
