These are very expensive. Put your toner setting on Draft mode or Toner Save mode to get the most from your cartridge.

Although the cartridge may be long-life, the Brother MFC 9420 shuts down when one color is supposedly out even though no image was yet faded. I do not think I get full use of the toner I buy. Second, It shuts down even black and white copies from the platen when one color is supposedly out. This is a major dissatisfier with the printer/copier, but also spreads to the toner cartridges that somehow signal that I must replace it or be paralyzed for printing. Leave that decision to me. Maybe in the middle of the night, a faded print or a black and white one is better than no print at all[...]
