The brother cartages work every time. Off brand ones do not always work well. Very expensive, but you have to have ones that work

Granted this printer is great since it's an all in one device (Fax, Scanner, Printer) but I should have done a bit more research on it's parts since it took me by surprise that each toner cartridge is [$] each and this printer takes 4 (1 for each color). For a large business this device is great, but for a small business it's supplies are too pricey. Live and learn, do your research first before getting any device
