These cartridges don't last very long at all and, are very expensive (everywhere).

You can almost buy a new printer for the cost of 4 cartridges. I've never even gotten close to 1500 pages out of ANY of the cartridges. I doubt I get 500 pages.

What can you say about the manufacturer's toner cartridge? Only use Brother toner cartridges in Brother printers. They are excellent.

I use this product because the machine I bought requires it. Don't have a choice. But it does perform well and the print outs look great. I haven't tried it w/ high quality print outs, but I don't think my machine has that high of resolution anyway...so for everyday use, it's great.
