When purchasing another printer first thing I will do is check the price of ink cartgies and then purchase a printer based on the cheapest ink cartgies prices. The smartest way to by. Will cost less in the long run.

and have found it to be consistent in quality.I really love the double cartridge of black as I seem to use more black than of the other colors.

These cartridges are done although you can still see a lot of ink still in the cartridge. I am not sure if this is the ink cartridge or my printer doing this but I am leaning toward it being the cartridges. Discouraging but I am not ready to purchase a new printer just yet so I have just been living with it.

I am new to using this ink cartidge. So far it doesn't print well if you try to use the fast print setting. "Fast normal" print setting looks ok. I hope it lasts a while.

I have used the Brother LC41BK Black Ink Cartridge by Brother since my purchase (2006) of MFC-5840CN Brother a Faxing,Scan,and copy machine.The scanning and copies are great w/this ink. The finished product is clear and consistant till it needs replacement.I have never used a refill do to past problems with outher printers. When it is emty it IS emty. The pictures are good but not as perfect as I would like.I have also used the color ink cartridges LC41CL Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow with the same results.

Black cartridges are absolutely mandatory for using a printer and printing anything from my computer. The Brother brand works perfectly with the Brother printer that we own. As with the color cartridges, I sometimes have difficuly finding the Brother brand to purchase and was really excited to see them in the Staples ad during the holiday season. I will continue to shop your store and purchase the cartridges that I need. I was also glad to find a convenient spot to recycle used cartridges and earn additional points on my Staples card.
