As a person who prints documents everyday of the week and many in quantity I needed a cartridge that would hold up and not have to be changed every week and this one does the trick. It lasts sometimes so long that I am shocked when I finally get a message saying low ink. I have never had a problem with any of the cartridges I have purchased and their ease of removal and replacement is great. I would definitely recommend this product to someone who prints as much as I do. No doubt you can't go wrong with this product.

These cartridges last a long time in our office printers, about one month between changes vs weekly changes with the standard cartridges or aftermarket cartridges. They also tend to make less of a mess when replacing vs the cheap refilled/remanufactured cartridges you can find. Ink tends to leak from the nozzle of the non original equipment cartridges but the nozzle brother uses for these seems to keep the ink from spilling out even after being used/removed from the printer.
I also find that we have to run the ink cleaning utility less often when using these vs the aftermarket versions.

    Brothers, HP, Epson, etc., are all part of the ink scam. Keep printer prices low and profit from the ink. Can't blame them. It's the new normal. Just as the airline will charge passengers to use the restroom, printer companies continue to charge customers to take advantage of the service provided by the printer. Tried to do a "lifetime average cost per page" analysis but decided that my time could be spent elsewhere, so I simply estimated average annual "pages" times machine cost plus repairs plus paper and multiplied times three for the ink. I'm still a paper producer in a world digitizing. Too bad!

    Surely someone can produce colored ink with more vibrant colors! A set of 4 ink cartridges lasts about one month... i.e. that's $100/month! My 12-year old HP printer's ink cartridges cost the same but lasted 3 months.

        This ink cartridge is the best all around for the money. Spend a little up front but save in the long run. Super high yield is definitely impressive in life and quality. I've had some ink-a-holics in my day but this Brother ink cartridge is definitely not headed for any ink-a-holics anonymous sessions! It knows how to hold its ink! I would highly recommend this ink cartidge and highly recommend Brother printers! Great for personal use or for business use. I have nothing negative to say. Two-thumbs up!!
