            When compared to other printers that I've used, my Brother all-in-one printer using High Yield Cartridges out performs other printers. If it seems that you're having to replace your ink cartridge every other day, you should compare a Brother printer using High Yield Cartridges to yours. I know that you will be surprised how less often you're changing ink cartridges even if you doing heavy duty printing such as color pictures. Plus, since each color is a separate cartridge, you save money by only having to replace the color that you need and don't have to replace a more expensive multi-color cartridge.

                    Original purchase price, O.K. Purchase price Ink wise, more economical to operate over an Epson but I believe I'm getting far less than 600 copies out of the ink cartridges, maybe 350 at the most. 600? No way! The colors are not as deep or vivid as the Epson. It has some quirks in printing envelopes. I guess for the price it does a good job, but I'm not excited about the overall quality of it's printing ability. Would I buy another one? Let's see what the production quality vs purchase price is in a couple of years. I'm using for communications more so than picture printing. Maybe on high finish stock I would be satisfied with color results, but that is not my need at present.
