We had a previous one - an earlier version of this one, and just plain wore it out! It is quiet and
efficient. It holds a LOT of paper. A slight-bit slow when you are sending. It acts as a good back-up for our other copiers, particularly when we have a number of pages to be copied all at once. We definately would buy another when the time came. The price was pretty much what I expected to pay.

We've had two or three of these in the past year and a half. The control panel has blown out of all of them. All it takes is one power surge or someone with too much static touching them. Will NOT be buying one of these again.

We use our fax machine for a small office that receives documents everyday that need to have a clear print. The machine we were using before would not send half of our documents to numbers that normally work and would have very unclear print. With the Brother 4100E we have not had one problem with a fax going through and the pages as extremely clear! I would recommend this machine to anyone.

Just recently purchased & the difference from our old fax machine to this is like comparing a Kia to a BMW...WOW, made a bid difference in faxing. It is fast. Also, have NOT experienced in trouble with sending two pages at the same time which was a big problem before. Also, have sent more pages than the stated 30 page maximum without a problem. On top of that, appreciate the additional paper holding capacity with viewing panel. We consider this to be one of the best electronic purchases we had made in a long time. So far so good
