About Me Tech Savvy
Comments about Brother ML-100 Standard Electronic Typewriter:
Typewriter is fine for small jobs. It types a little slow so if doing a lot of typing you might get frustrated. Very light weight and works well but slow

Ribbon and Corrector Tape
By CDR
from New Orleans, LA
I just setup this typewriter after ordering it. So far, it works well. One thing that I haven't seen mentioned is that the description of the product does not include whether or not you need to buy anything in addition to the typewriter to start typing/correcting. I spoke with Quill customer service and they stated in chat that I needed to buy a starter kit. However, when the machine arrived, it had both a ribbon and corrector tape already in the typewriter. So, you do not need to buy anything extra when purchasing to start using.
Great little machine!

This is the third one of this typewriter I have bought. I have literally worked them everyday for various tasks with no problem. For an inexpensive typewriter it works very well.
Love it!

Its a little different from our 30 year old typewriter. The keys are super sensitive. We are still getting use to the changes but we love it so far.
Not great

Really inexpensive which is what was needed because we rarely need a typewriter. Difficult to get the hang of using it, we are used to IBM selectric. This is no where near that. It's only OK for very small jobs. It is hard to line things up, you are often not typing on the line you wanted to. Just feels cheap, you get what you pay for. We haven't had it long enough to have any technical difficulties.
Excellent machine for the price.

About Me Technically Challenged
We use the typewriter to make stencils for marking our metal parts and cutters for inventory.
Great produce for the price

I was a little skeptical about buying this product at such a low price - but it works great and is a great buy for the money !!
Not for the serious typist

Primary use: Filling in pre-printed forms and labels. It is big enough for small jobs and small enough to be a great space saver however, the multi key function feature will unexpectedly switch to another mode and the instruction book does not appear to cover the required information to prevent the change. I have figured how to get the keyboard cleared back to what I want it to be doing, but I am not sure what I am doing to cause the function of the keyboard to make the switch in the first place. Also I miss the left, right, up and down arrow keys my old typewriter had. Would probably be a good choice if it came with a more detailed instruction manual.
Great for the price.

Good little typewriter for light duty
By Honest Bookie
from Fallon NV
If you are using a typewriter to complete large jobs on a frequent basis, this is not the one to purchase. However, for light jobs, it's perfect! Those forms that your computer just cannot fill in (insurance applications, etc.) are a snap with this little Brother. My computer's printer just won't take envelopes very well - they get stuck - and this typewriter was the answer to that dilema.
