Purchased a new drum due to an error message. Copier gave instructions about sliding the blue slide on back, so purchased expensive drum and copier will make copies, but still asks for a new drum

I have had my brother laser printer for about twenty years and find it to be extremely effective in meeting my professional needs as an editor and writer. I have replaced the drum Cartidge about once a year. The price is high, but the product is excellent.

I thought I'd save money the last time I ordered but the Quill brand was horrible. I use this printer to make payroll checks and it was smearing all over the check. Even though this product is expensive it is better to stay with the name brand.

Don't buy one of the Brother printers that use this drum kit. It's supposed to make usage cost cheaper by only paying for another drum when you need it, and not buying a drum every time you replace toner. But [$] for a drum kit on a printer that costs around $60 ? That's insane! Not Staples fault, it's the manufacturer doing this.

I have purchsed 2 replacement drums in the past 3 months and have been very uhappy with the performance of both. Actually, the one purchased in January was totally unacceptable and had to be replaced. The second, although functioning leaves a lot to be desired
