Both drum cartridges were Brother products. I was outraged that the second lasted for such a short time. I had to call Brother to get the printer re-started. When I complained about the cartridge failing after a few weeks, and asked what I could do about it, the service person gave me a long song and dance about how usage varies, but ignored the fact that I wanted my money back!

Got generic toner cartridge from other supplier rather than Brother but quality not as good so I'm back. Price margin between Brother and generic not enough for difference in quality.

The drum for the MFC 7360N leaves a lot to be desired. The number of copies is minimal compared to the cost of the drum. I'm a heavy user and the drum needs to be replaced every month to 6 weeks. That's a pain in the head because the number of copies per drum should be much greater than they are. I'm very tempted to start looking for other printer brands which will be give me more satisfaction. The drums are expensive and so are the toner cartridges. Compared to my last Brother, I'm very disappointed in this printer, the drum and the toner cartridge (output.)
