Recently purchased and very pleased. Makes filing much easier. So far does not jam as other label makers have done.

Love my P-touch

About Me Power User
I use my P-touch at work to label a variety of different things and without fail, the machine has the ability for me to create the best, most appropriate label possible. There are several different colors of tape to choose from, several different fonts, borders, sizes, spacing, bold face.......you name it....it's there. It makes my projects look more professional and the labels last wherever I put them. All of our technicians, of which there are about 40, use a P-touch for labeling cable, outlets, whatever and they put it's stability to the test with continues use and handling. The print stays, the label is heavy duty and everything else they need it to be. We love our P-touches!!!!
Love it!

I read through many reviews online before choosing this product. I have been extremely satisfied with the quality of the labels and have been very pleased with the sense of organization I have gained by owning a label maker. The only issue I had with this product was when I first bought it. I printed my first label and pushed the "cut" button before the last bit of the label finished exiting the machine. This caused the tape to clog. Fortunately, I was able to salvage that roll since the tape itself is a bit on the expensive side. The label maker itself is a great value when buying it during one of Staples occasional sales. I used it to organize my closets, kitchen, etc and plan to use it next year as a teacher to organize my classroom supplies. I even ended up buying a second one for part of my 18 year old son's high school graduation present since he was always borrowing mine to organize the equipment for his job!

simple easy to use printer , only down side is the manual cutter. lots of premade designs not useful for a business, great for the kids, but at the price of the tape this unit is expensive and selection at most stores is minimal.

Great Product, Pricey Label Refills

Overall, a great product. Lots of icons to use, if you want, i.e., add a snowman to your label for C'mas boxes or a pumpkin icon for Halloween décor. The screen is a bit difficult to read in ambient light, so be near a light to input. Some reviews state wasted space between labels, and they're right, EXCEPT, there are instructions how to greatly minimize this problem. We tried it and it works just fine. We labeled about 15 boxes, with icons, and still have lots of tape left on the roll that came with the machine.I'm tight with money, so don't know if I would pay the regular price of $50, but I got it for $20. The label refills will run $20-$25 average, but I checked the prices of refills BEFORE I bought it, so no surprise there. Bottomline, read the instructions, check refill prices, and go get organized!
Used at work - got one for home.
