NICE OUTPUT

I HAVE BEEN PLEASED WITH THIS LABELING MACHINE SO FAR. IT DOES NOT JAM, WHICH IS THE REASON WHY I HAD TO GET RID OF MY OLD MACHINE. I LIKE THE VARIETY OF FONTS. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE PRICES OF THE REFILL LABELS REDUCED BECAUSE THIS IS WHERE THE GREATEST EXPENSE COMES FROM HAVING THESE MACHINES. I HAVE NOT TRIED THE COMPUTER SOFTWARE AS YET, BUT SO FAR I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO WHAT I HAVE WANTED WITHOUT USING THE SOFTWARE, SO I CHARACTERIZE THIS AS A STAND ALONE ITEM, WHICH IS CONVENIENT. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE OF THE FUN COLORS AND DIFFERENT SIZED LABELS SOLD IN THE STORES RATHER THAN HAVING TO ORDER THEM VIA CATALOG OR A SEPARATE INTERNET PURCHASE.

About Me Budget Shopper
Best aspect is that this printer can be used without turning on the computer. Also looks professional and does a superb job of printing labels.

this is a nice machine, however it does pull about 3/4" of print medea for every label to start just waste, so if you print 10 labels you blew 7" of label just in that start off cut off...

Everyone loves my p-touch... this is my second because the first one was "borrowed" by another department! Meanwhile the no one wants the old off brand one... I have to hide my most recent one.

Happy with purchase

Used this to label the cabinets in the kitchen at church so folks can find and put back items in the correct location. We have wooden cabinets so we used the black tape with gold letters to blend into the decor a little better. The labels stick to the wooden cabinets and are easy to read since we used the two line method with a large type style. Everyone who has seen the new labels has commented on how nice they look and what a big difference it makes. Overall we are extremely pleased with this product. We haven't used the hook-up to the computer yet.
Does just about everything well

I bought one of these for home use to replace an older Casio labeler, mostly for laminated labels and the easy peel split backing. My old labeler was serial PC interface as well. I liked the one at home so much that I picked up another for my engineering work when they came on sale. The software works very well, I just wish I could create "auto format" labels in the software and save the editable format to the labeler. That's not the case, all edits need to be performed on via the software. There are several auto formats pre-loaded on the labeler though, and the software is very reliable, quick, and easy to use. I haven't really found anything with this labeler that I do not appreciate. I have used Dymo and Casio labelers as well. Each have their strong points, but overall this Brother is the most versatile.
