This is a great label maker. It's small, easy to use and puts out professional grade labels. But either spring for the AC power cord or stock up on batteries; the machine eats them like candy and takes 6 at a time.
We have had many label makers in the past. Since I have awful handwriting and I wanted my files to be neat...we have searched for an affordable and easy to use label maker. We took a chance on this one and have found it to fulfill all its claims. It prints quickly and is very professional looking. We use it to label drawers and all the files. Also it is easy for me to use with my arthritic hands. That is a real plus for me. Overall..I would highly recommend this label maker. Affordable, high quality and easy to use.
I just love my Brother P-touch PT-D200 Label Maker! This model has several different options available to help you create a label that is sure to get attention. I love that you can choose to use 4 different label widths making personalizing a project that much easier. A full key board makes creating labels a breeze. It can be used on the go with 6 'AAA' batteries or plug in to the wall with an AC adapter (unfortunately, sold separately). This is a great label maker that I feel is easier to use than some of the other less expensive models from Brother but it still has a lot of the same features as the more expensive types. All in all a great deal for the price.
Its a nice labeler design wise. I love all the functionality with fonts and design options. It wastes a lot of tape. The replacements are expensive.it takes 6 Aaa batteries and you have to buy the special brother's brand ac adapter. I got on sale for 10$ had it beem morevi would returned it.
Went to the Staples store to buy new tape for my older Brothers P-touch. However, this new P-touch was on a special sale for less than the price of a new tape cartridge for my old one.
The new one was out of stock at the Walnut Staples store. I was really disappointed until a store employee offered to order one for me on line. It was very easy and the new P-touch label maker shipped directly to my house and arrived in two days.
Upon receipt I immediately wanted to put the unit to work. I had a need for some labels when my old unit ran out of tape. The new unit has many more features and took a little while to get familiar with. After a short while, I was able to do all that I needed to do.
If you are like me when I buy something .I want to take it home and be able to get to use it right away. With this labeler you have no problem reading the instruction on how to load it and begin to start labeling anything you want. You have the option to use it with the batteries or with a power adapter which I Love that idea. The labels turn out so nice and easy to read that you don't need to try to see what they are. I will replace this one with another one from the same company IF this one should ever fail to work for me. I am so glad I bought it.
I bought one of these from Staples online when it was on sale several weeks ago (for around $10 delivered) and have been very pleased with it's performance and capabilities. So I highly recommend that you toss your clumsy and ancient Dymo label maker and get one of these. The labels are razor sharp and easy to generate and apply.
The label maker might be an ok product but there was absolutely nothing in the box that told me how to use it. I tried to print a manual from the Brother website but it had such tiny print I couldn't read it. Would not purchase again.
I bought this because someone I know has one. I was trying to get one that was at least as good as theirs. But sinse I never had my hands on it, I was guessing. When I saw yours on sale I knew I had to have it. At the price you had advertised I couldn't help but fall in love with it. So I ordered it online. I was actually very excited. I love getting things by mail. I was wondering how long it would take to arrive? It actuallly only took only 3-4 days to arrive. I couldn't wait to "PLAY" with it. The instructions were very easy to read and understand. And I'm not usually good at things like that. Now I'm putting signs everywhere. I love it.
