I have had a P-touch for several years and just love it. The current purchase was a gift and when I saw how this machine had advanced, I would like one for myself. The versatility for marking so many items in the home is almost overwhelming. I have found uses for the labels that I had never thought of until I had a P-touch. The different size tapes make marking anything a possibility. The patterns are handy for making all kinds of decorations and the different size tapes make it easy to label all kinds of storage.

I do not like that t wastes so much tape, but have found a way to waste less by pooling projects. The beautiful print makes the wasted tape a little more bearable.

With the salesperson's help I was able to select just the right label maker for our office usage needs. We are a small group of five counselors and one supervisor. We will use the label maker for file labels and labels for cabinets holding forms and work sheets. We haven't had much time to play around with it and learn all its functions. We are also using the labels for notebooks, CD cases, name plates, filing cabinet markers and supply cabinet shelf labels. We are very likely to purchase other Brother products in the future.

I bought this during their Black Friday sale. At the time I thought it was a great deal; however, I hardly use it and have already replaced the six (yes... SIX!) AAA batteries three times already. It drains batteries like crazy. I would not recommend this product. Looking at purchasing a Dymo electrical label maker.

I purchased this item for my Dad as a Christmas gift several years ago. I got tired of constantly borrowing his and not having it when it was most convenient. In the home I use it for labeling tool drawers, tool cabinets, date books and a variety of other applications. I also use it to identify support rods for the bimini top of my boat as well identification labels for my electronic control switches. So far I have no complaint with the labels adhering to all the surfaces I have applied them to.
